Fine art photography rock and autumn leaves reflected in water

I have come to the conclusion that the ego is the kitchen junk draw of the mind. All these useless things that we don’t throw out in case we need them. Old manuals for things we no longer own or haven’t used in years, bits with other bits missing in case we find the other half again. Cards from forgotten birthdays and Christmases – remnants of the past – the prize money for participation in the ritual used on a forgotten something or other.

Old blunt knives no use for cutting anymore but still – you never know when you might need to prise something open (or jam it shut). Dead batteries, and live ones in the wrong size. Light globes that don’t fit so we just keep them and sit in the dark instead.

I am considering pulling it out, turning it over, and emptying the entire thing in the rubbish.
